San Diego — Title I Schools Book Drive
From May 1 through June 15, we're collecting new and used books for kids across San Diego County. The goal: 5,000 books for over 20 Title I schools — the schools serving the families who need them most. Got books to give? We'll come pick them up.
Gather your books
New or gently used — children's picture books, chapter books, workbooks, all reading levels welcome. Clear off the shelf and give those books a second life.

We deliver them
Every book goes directly to a Title I school in San Diego County, putting reading material into the hands of kids who need it most.

Kibuye, Burundi — Discovery School & Kibuye Hope Hospital
Our first-ever campaign targeted three specific needs in Kibuye, Burundi. Our community of 500 supporters delivered on every single one of them.
Scholarships
5 kindergarteners funded for a full academic year at Discovery School – Kibuye. Only 28% of children in Burundi finish elementary school. For $152 per child, we changed that for five of them.
School Supplies
1,600 students each received a notebook and a pen for the entire school year — for just $0.41 per child. Small cost, enormous dignity.
Medical Supplies
Critical intraosseous needles for Kibuye Hope Hospital, needed to treat severe dehydration in children. Fully preventable deaths, now preventable.
