Kibuye, Burundi — Discovery School & Kibuye Hope Hospital
Our first-ever campaign targeted three specific needs in Kibuye, Burundi. Our community of 106 supporters delivered on every single one of them.
Scholarships
5 kindergarteners funded for a full academic year at Discovery School – Kibuye. Only 28% of children in Burundi finish elementary school. For $152 per child, we changed that for five of them.
School Supplies
1,600 students each received a notebook and a pen for the entire school year — for just $0.41 per child. Small cost, enormous dignity.
Medical Supplies
Critical intraosseous needles for Kibuye Hope Hospital, needed to treat severe dehydration in children. Fully preventable deaths, now preventable.
